For part two of your post, I want you to recommend a book to your classmates to read over the summer. I know this will be extremely hard for some of you to limit it to one text, but I want you to recommend a book that you think students would enjoy and/or find educational. I will produce a list of my own, categorized, to offer my own suggestions. Make sure you explain WHY you are suggesting the book.
Okay, time for the final blog post of the year and it is going to be a two-part post worth two points. For the first part of your post, I want you to reflect on your Year 1 experience: what was your favorite part? What did you find most challenging? What was your favorite text? Least favorite? Why?

Who is one of your role models and why? Important caveat, I want you to avoid people that you know (parent, teacher, coach, etc). I am thinking more along the lines of a famous person. As a second part to this, or maybe to beef up the responses, I also want you to identify your favorite superhero and why? So there it is, name a role model and a favorite superhero and explain why.
I have to go rearrange the classroom, but I will add a post to this later. Sorry, this post is coming in late. I am tired. I am busy. You are tired. You are busy. So, here is what I want you to do. I am going to make this a 2 point blog post. You are to come up with your own prompt that you then answer. I do not care what it is, but please, put in some effort (one haiku would be a little short). Feel free to reuse a previous prompt that you want to go a different way with, or, if you see a prompt from someone else on the thread that you like, feel free to steal (imitation is the highest form of flattery). Yes, I know I am being lazy, but I am running out of ideas, and only one or two of you have provided ideas the whole year (so I am forcing you to come up with one...Ha!)
